Annually, DEOSC distills over 22,000 liters of Bay Oil and exports 72% of our production, thereby meeting 75% of the global demand. This significant achievement is made possible through our industrial distillery located in Petite Savanne, Dominica.
We pride ourselves on producing pure botanicals true to the island’s tradition for quality essential oils and spices. Our products are organic, setting us apart from synthetic alternatives in the market. We are also committed to preserving the natural environment of Dominica, including the same land and trees that our ancestors used for healing. We are actively engaged in efforts to further reduce CO2 emissions, further enhancing the sustainability of our products.

DEOSC was established in 1964 when we first embarked on the journey of producing and exporting essential Bay Oil and Bay Rum. While our cooperative model and standout botanicals are novel, they uphold a legacy of quality that traces back to our ancestors. Over the years, we have become an integral part of the essential oils industry in Dominica, with 564 active members contributing to our growth.
Our vision is to emerge as the leading provider of top-quality, competitively-priced essential oils and spice products. We are dedicated to producing, processing, and marketing goods that not only meet but exceed international market standards and specifications in the essential oils industry.
